Easter is this week! Here are some egg-shaped cookies to celebrate.

This is my first attempt at decorating cookies so there is plenty of room for improvement.

If you would like to make some of these before Easter Day but are low on time, you could always use store-bought oval-shaped cookies. Decorate the flatter side with coloured royal icing and then pipe on your details.

My bunny cookies were inspired by these, although I used a wet-on-wet icing technique for all of my cookies, rather than fondant for the bunnies. You may notice the similarity to many of these and my sharpie eggs patterns – I must be low on inspiration.
