“Let’s play shop-keepers,” is one of the most common phrases we hear these days, so I thought I might as well embrace it.

I attempted to teach the little man some simple addition with price tags but playing with them was short-lived. He’d rather have his items scanned and bagged so he can pay and take them back to his car, always via the lift, and drive home. Conveniently when he gets home he often puts his shopping back where it belongs, so this game sometimes doubles as packing away.

(The wheels on the nappy/diaper box shopping trolley are Rolobox and are brilliant).
