I love autumn (fall) weather and have taken the opportunity to be outside as much as possible and to talk to the little man about the world God has created, along with its different seasons.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. ~ Psalm 19:1-4 (NIV)
We have jumped in leaves, made a kite and been on a nature hunt (the little man was clear that he did not want to find a spider web).
We have collected leaves, sorted them into piles, arranged them into pictures, turned them into puppets, made crayon rubbings over them and painted them.
I’m pleased we’ll still have plenty more of this weather to enjoy.
